How many times has this been said?
I was playing a gig and the promoter wanted to spontaneously pay us to play another set... but we could not because "the euphonium player has another gig".

My good friend here in Victoria, BC Canada just won a job in the Reg Force bands. As a Euphonium player. He beat us all to a job.
