Look for anything Ken Singleton has done. Walter Sear's First Book of Duets is fun (his description) - not sure if it's still in print though. According to Walter, the second book is for blood. Phil Catelinet also did a nice set.
Gnagey CC, VMI Neptune 4098 CC, Mirafone 184-5U CC and 56 Bb, Besson 983 EEb and euphonium, King marching baritone, Alexander 163 BBb, Conn 71H/112H bass trombone, Olds Recording tenor trombone.

The second Sear book of duets is indeed challenging. Another good book, though out of print, is by Roger Jones. It is called 21 Distinct Duets for Tuba.

Walter Sear book 1:

Book II:

I would second the Singleton books as well.
I did a set by Handel a while back which I think is kind of fun and challenging:

Sean Greene has some very cool jazz charts here:

And now back to more new charts...

Re: tuba duets and trios
I've got Phil Catelinets "Suite in Miniature" (it is out of print, but Edition Peters will print a copy of it from their archive it is H139). It is a nice little piece.jeopardymaster wrote:Look for anything Ken Singleton has done. Walter Sear's First Book of Duets is fun (his description) - not sure if it's still in print though. I would be interested in hearing more about the Catelinet set you mention.

Re: tuba duets and trios
Though you've asked for tuba duets, I can't help but recommend Tommy Pedersen's bass trombone duets. They're low enough that you wouldn't need to bump them down the octave. They're short and silly, and a lot of fun to play. My favourite one is "The Walrus Ordered Waffles"....

Sorry, Peter, the Catilinet Suite is the set I meant. I wish there were more!
