Tuba Santa Christmas Ornament

Post by joshwirt »

This is a bit of an odd request, but does anyone know of where I might find a Christmas ornament of Santa playing a Tuba? My mom had one that a friend gave her years ago and she just opened the box and it was broken beyond repair.

Thanks for any help. And Happy Holidays to you all!

There are images of a lot of tuba Santa ornaments people have found in the Clip Art section (Post You Tuba Kitsch) but they were mostly found at random locations over many- K-marts or similar places, special Xmas stores, antique stores, a few websites - but there is not much this year.

http://www.capricrafts.com/images%20enesco/568449.jpg is an available teddy bear tuba ornament -

eBay has a glass Santa - item 380179529411

I always made my own tuba ornaments. You can make a tuba with modeling dough in any style you want. Then spray paint it with gold metallic Krylon. You can find cheap dolls with wire arms that can hold the tuba. Sorry I have no pictures, but, trust me, this works.
