I have had a cold recently and my sinuses have been pluuged as well as having a sore throat. I have noticed a significant deterioration in the quality of my sound this week--however others I have talked to have not. Is this likely simply a change in my perception of the sound due to plugged sinuses or is it possible that having a sore throat and plugged sinuses could really have a detrimental effect on my sound?
Thanks
Amy

I would also bet
that you are lacking in energy and not putting the same "air" into the horn that you do when you are healthy. When we play tired or sick we tend to get lazy and sloppy - know this and watch out for it.
