If you talk to Doug Elliott, he can make whatever you need.

Sounds like a GW Caver (same diameter, shallower cup).

I'm trying to persuade Mike Finn to make me a mouthpiece with his 3B cup shape with a 33.5mm cup diameter and flat rim... Still trying...

To answer the original question, I've been seriously searching for some months now for the exact thing you are looking for and do not think it exists in an off-the-shelf form.

This is on the drawing board... depending on how things go at TUSAB-TEC I hope to be able to invest in a few new designs (including this one) to have ready for the ITEC in May.

So... how much interest would there be in a "Really Big MF Mouthpiece"? (Right now my line tops out at 33.00mm.)

The Joseph Klier T2A has that rim and bore size. The cup is fairly bowl shaped. I have a T1AA and T1B which I use occasionally on my large BBbs. These are very nice mpc's and are very reasonably priced. I got mine from Dillon Music in under a week.

Yes, the throat is a tad smaller, but the transitions of the cup to throat and the open backbores typical of PT mouthpieces are such they tend to "blow" more freely than the actual diameter of the throat may otherwise indicate: PT-88?

"PT-88
CUP CHARACTERISTICS:  33.5 mm. diameter - Very wide - Deep cup - Bowl-shaped - Very rounded at bottom.
RIM CHARACTERISTICS:  Width 7 mm. - Rounded inner edge - Very rounded outer edge
THROAT BORE:  8.2 mm.
Model PT-88 was primarily intended as a special applications mouthpiece for low register playing. However, it has found considerable acceptance for use on medium-large and large bore CC tubas. It serves very well on any BBb tuba, providing a very full and strong tone. It is recommended for advanced players."
