Need help!:new baritone/euphonium

I am looking for a new baritone/euphonium to buy but I don't know which brand to get. ......

That depends on a whole lot of things. ..

- What's your budget?
- What type of playing do you plan to do?
- Are you a student?... a comeback musician looking to play in a community band?... or what?
- Do you prefer front-action... top-action... or three plus one?

Chances are there is something out there that will serve your needs without having to look for a brand new horn. Describe the horn you currently have a little better. Is it a fixed or detachable bell? Is there a model engraved on the bell?... or is there a model number stamped into the bell collar? You might have something that's pretty good, already.

I've only ever seen one front action fourth valve compensating euphonium, and that was a Thein, so it's rather insanely expensive and not particularly worth it just for front-action. If you want a compensating fourth valve, get an upright horn.

There are a few front-action compensators around. This one's by Willson... bearing the name Marzan:

Oh my gosh! I'm an idiot. My baritone that I have has front action valves, so that's what I would like, 3 in front plus one on the side.

Doesn't exist, except—perhaps—as a franken-horn.

Four-valve piston euphs and baritones (not the same thing) are either 3+1, 4-inline top, or 4-inline front.

It's possible someone makes a 3+1 front rotary valve euph or bari, but I'm never come across such an animal.

It appears that you are correct ... although it doesn't appear in their catalog or 2009 price lists, and if you click on the euph link in their webstore, is says
