Eb Tubas in Portland Oregon

Hello Tubenet Community,

I work with a student group on the campus of Portland State University that is helping to put on a concert with the Charlie Mingus Big Band. One of the members in the group needs a 4 valve Eb tuba (probably non-compensating, but as to that I'm not 100% sure) for one performance.

Does anyone in the Portland, OR area (or Salem or Eugene) happen to know where I might be able to track down a 4 valve Eb tuba to rent/borrow?

You should contact the Portland Brass Society, they could put out an email to the mailing list. Another option is contact John Richards. He probably knows of quite a few in the area.

If there is one person to contact in Portland about a tuba THIS is the man to call. Chuck Bolton (sp?) would also be a good person to call. PM me for contact info for Dr. John. I don't have Chuck's but Dr. John would have his number as well.
