Mnozil Brass at George Mason Friday 2PM

Post by vintage7512 »

I can't go, and who would schedule a concert at this time of day anyway, but the Mnozil Brass are performing at George Mason along with the Army band at the National Trumpet Competition this friday. I would LOVE to see these guys live, they are fabulous players as well as hilarious entertainers. Check them out on their many Youtube offerings. Kind of like the Canadian Brass meets the Three Stooges.
By the way.... to all who were so helpful in my search for a worthy instrument on a shoestring budget, I took the advice of the majority and got me a 5 year old Mira 186 which I am convinced I will never outgrow. So far it is just fantastic in every way and I thank you for your sage, and sometimes irreverent, advice.

I'll be seeing these guys on Thursday up here in NYC. Busy tour for them!

And congratulations on the new tuba! I hope you love it!
