I've been using it for @ 5 months and it is changing my embrocure making it more consistant throughout all registers.
I have a break just under the bass cleft and it is helping to smooth it out. My sound is also getting darker.

If it helps you to practice more, then yes. Anything to create more buzzing time will help you improve by strengthening your embouchure muscles.

But you can do the same thing with just the mouthpiece or plain ol' face time on your instrument.

Yes, it does work! I've been using it for about a month, just a few minutes at a time in the car on the way to work in the mornings, and I've added a fourth onto my range in that time and improved my tone.
