Rudolf Meinl website updated !

Post by oedipoes »

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that I noticed the Rudy website has been updated recently.
It contains more pictures and information than before, and looks far more professional.
Also includes pics from their piston valve BBb and CC horns.

Cool! Long overdue, but I don't think RM depends on Web site traffic for sales. :)

I never knew that they made a piston version of their 5/4 BBb

Wonder why their Eb models are not shown?

Amusing, but rather strange video at http://www.rudolf-meinl.de/index.php?id=4524

After watching the video, I must say he takes a page out his compatriot German film makers. Entertaining but strange.

Wow. Their new piston model looks very similar to the MW thor. I got to hear Dave Gliddon of the Bayreuth Festspielorchester honk out some Wagner on the 6/4 BBb beast that they make - awesome. Then again he could make a trash can sound good!

But quite a LOT larger - 500mm bell against 450mm for Thor. The Rudy is of BAT dimensions, even bigger than a Fafner
