Recent Brass Ensemble Tour

Post by JHardisk »

A couple weeks ago, we were touring Michigan with our Brass Ensemble. In Battle Creek, the local cable channel televised it, and made it available online.

For those of you not able to attend, please enjoy your United State Air Force Band of Flight's Wright Brass Ensemble:

Thank you for the link!

Right now I am listening to the euphonium solo beginning around 51.30. I didn’t hear an announcement, and I don’t know the tune, please tell! Also the name of the soloist.

The piece is "A Little Prayer," by Scottish percussionist and composer Dame Evelyn Glennie (who's deaf), from Three Chorales for solo marimba.

According to the USAF Band of Flight website, the band's euphoniumist is Staff Sergeant Daniel R. Bentley.
