American/Euro mpc shank
My horn has the larger diameter European leadpipe. I found an old Frank Holton Elkhorn WI Revelation 52 mouthpiece. It's big, and I thought it might be interesting for very low range, but it has an American shank. How might that affect its response?

Re: American/Euro mpc shank
I assume you've already tried it if you have the equipment and you're posting. Must not have been the desired effect.
Put some tape on the shank to informally see what kind of difference the thickness makes.
You can buy a metal sleeve to put on your American shank mpc to make it euro. Not an exact science, but if the mpc is a total mismatch for the receiver, this might help. I think Dillons sells them.
