Bryan just told me that it should be up soon.
Beyond Ligner's revolutionary approach to teaching articulation, his deliberate approach to the step-by-step acquisition of multiple-tonguing is very useful.
Arban presents a collection of exercises while Ligner presents a methodical arrangement of gradually rising difficulty. He calls it "50 Studies," but there really 53;-)
If you have ever wondered how to multiple tongue, Ligner and 6-12 months of diligence will get you there. The dreaded "grey area" can be mastered and blended into a smooth continuum of increased speed.
If you know a linguist or speech pathologist, they should recognize that what Ligner describes is in no language.
As an aside, I have found that proper articulation benefits players in other aspects. This is not empirical, just an observation;-)

Re: Ligner Triple Tongue Method on Cimarron Website
I purchased a copy of the Ligner's 50 Exercises, but was surprised that it only deals with triple-tonguing, and nothing about double-tonguing! I suspect double is easier, but the book has helped me a lot in just a week. It's fun now to work on the start of the Blackjack March, with the daah . . . dig-a-did-i-ga-did-i-ga-daah (double, triple, triple). Fun stuff! Thanks for the pointer to the Ligner book.
