Pretty neat, but there are just some things that I will shell out money for. Springs are one of them.

Too bad they don't tell how to coat them like Yamaha does.

Has anyone ever tried plastidip on valve springs?

Too too thick...

That stuff is meant for plier handles.

You can use super glue, but after a while it tends to break down or slough off.

The Yamaha idea appears good, but when the coating starts flaking, the idea becomes less attractive.

I have used, and still use, British Besson’s synthetic rubber spring dampers also on non-Besson instruments. They work as supposed to. Whether they still are available is beyond me.
