Khachaturian Masquerade Suite

Post by Wyvern »

Has anyone got a copy of the part for Khachaturian Masquerade Suite for orchestra, or can tell me anything about it?

I have this one coming up next month and it is not in my excerpts collection.

Thanks!

I've played and conducted it. If my memory serves me, the part is pretty typical for Khachaturian.... nothing particularly difficult but a few prominent licks. Probably best on contrabass tuba. I don't have the part. I think the score is around here someplace. I'll check it and give you a "heads-up" If I see anything that I've forgotten about the tuba part.
Best,
Sam
