David Wilson, Tubist

Post by Rommel72 »

Hi all,

I recieved this email this afternoon. I thought I would pass it along for anyone interested.

Hi,

I don't know if any of you knew David Wilson, a tuba player here in
Houston, but he passed away from cancer this past Saturday. His memorial
service is tomorrow (1/11/05) at Cokesbury UMC, 10030 Scarsdale Blvd,
Houston, TX 77089 at 3:00 pm. Please keep Judy and the children in your
prayers. If you can, please come celebrate David's life with his family
and friends.

I recently bought a tuba from a Dave Wilson - a genuinely nice guy. Are they the same? In any case it is very unfortunate.

Wasn't it David Wilson who bravely performed at the last ITEC in Budapest?
