In response to what the Fluba is used for:

My main use is in jazz and have recorded it on my last several CDs. http://www.jimself.com" target="_blank" target="_blank

But last year I used it on the Bear solo in Petroushka with the Pacific Symphony--it was the easiest and best I ever played it. The conductor, brass players and management all raved about it. For one thing it projected the sound out to the audience.

The Fluba was made for me by Robb Stewart and is a real work of art. There is a Fluba page on my web site.
