I am glad you posted as I missed the premiere as well. The playing was great, but the piece didn't do anything for me. I am sure others will have varying opinions...

Great playing - Roylance has a huge, colorful mellow sound
But the music is a bit too 1970s atonal for my tastes. There are some nice sections though and it's nice we have another piece written for our instrument.
