Tuba wraps?

I have seen many tuba players wrap the "contact points" of their horns with either leather or something similar. As I just broke down and bought myself a new horn, I am hoping that I can protect the finish for as long as possible.

So, here's the question: What type of material do you use to wrap your tuba? Where can you pick this up? Any other useful info is much appreciated.

After seeing someone else with one, my daughter bought an elastic knee brace that does not have the patella hole - Walmart sells them. It works well for the bottom bow.
