Solo Spot with Strings

I have just had confirmation of a concert with a String Orchestra in a top London series of Prom concerts.

Thursday June 16th. as soloist with the Nonesuch String Orchestra in St. Jude's Hampstead. This is a prestige event and will be a 1st. for the euphonium (a Willson euphonium!). The Church is one of the finest in North London and is used by Chandos to make classical recordings. I will play the last movement 'Summer Celebration' from 'Music of the Seasons', written for me a few years ago by American composer, Koe Miserendino.

Look forward to that. I'm just getting my foot in the door here and am aiming for a full evening recital slot next season.

I really had to sell the idea and the instrument to them!
