Finger Buttons
Does anybody know where I could get custom finger buttons that would fit on an HB-21? I'm not so thrilled with the standard mother of pearl buttons
, guess I'm just picky

will add layers of complexity to your sound as opposed to the monochrome effect of O-rings.

White gloves will ensure that.

Yamaha buttons have the same thread as Mirafone, so they might be the same as HB.

Re: Finger Buttons
Do the Yammy buttons have the same length of threaded stem, the same overall height, the same deck height to the button, and the same amount of recess under the button for the same felt and cork? If any of these variables are off, then adjustments would have to be made to fit the Yammy valve buttons. I've had these problem on other tubas trying to retrofit valve buttons.Art Hovey wrote:viewtopic.php?f=2&t=33871

Re: Finger Buttons
If there is nothing wrong with them and there is a good rock shop nearby why not replace just the mother of pearl inserts with a polished mineral. I saw a nice euph the other day with faux black onyx button tops with a black felt washer on the valve cap looked very nice against the silver plate and only the player can really see it.
Cant carry a tune but I can carry a tuba.
