yamaha BB flat neo.

Just took delivery of yamahas new BB flat neo tuba.I traded in my 20 year old soverign for the new yamaha. I like everything about the new horn. It is more comfortable to play than the soverign in that the valve block is lower and the fourth valve is almost in the middle of the horn. Pitch is spot on and what is surprising is that the upper register is really easy to play and plays in tune really well. The low register is awesome with even the pedal register being easy to play.I am currently playing a PT-48+ but will continue to explore other options.I know this type of valve configuration and key of tuba is not everybodys cup of tea but it sure works for me.
