That video was uploaded to youtube on Mar 10, 2011, almost a year ago.
FWIW, the dealer locator at http://www.mytalis.com" target="_blank doesn't show any dealers in the US.

Re: "Talis by B&S"
Seeing this thread, I thought I'd have more complaints, but I think B&S has done a lot of good things:
1) LJV is right, it's nice that B&S is up-front and uses the C-word to describe their products. Gemeinhardt was confusing to me for a long time (German name, American company, made in China).
2) This is a well-established company doing their own design work and not making copies.
3) The economic reasons for doing this are the same as anywhere else, but on a far different scale. Get people hooked on the company early on, then sell them the high-end models that are still made in Germany (presumably!).
4) No brainwash factor like Apple (as opposed to Apple, who thinks that only a total idiot wouldn't want an iPhone and an iPad, etc...right? Idiot?
)
I do think they need a better marketing video though...

If they wanted to differentiate themselves from other student horn manufacturers, they could at least have made it different from every other one. How about a 103ish horn, or one with three rotary valves?

Re: "Talis by B&S"
Another question I might have missed the answer to...
Are these new instruments to the Meinl lineup? Or things they've already been making, but will now make in China? Did they just never had student-level instruments before...
