Answer request to any Atlanta Organ tech

Hi,

Is the ASO still using that large3 manual Allen organ. I was one of the first to be able to run some music through it. In that hall (1972), the organ was absolutely glorious! It had a reverb time of at least 2 seconds, so Also Sprach Zartusthra sounded absolutely wonderful. Even with the hall at SRO, the organ rose above everything (when needed) and added just the right background, as called for.

Just wondering. Ancient memory.

Thank you, Tuben. I know you are a pipe organ purist and would very much like to meet you, if I ever get back to Atlanta (lived there for 10 years).
