1926 Conn Eb Tuba

Post by jscottmsn »

Hey all. I need some help; I made an ebay purchase of a 1926 Elkhart Conn Eb tuba. The main tuning slide is irreparable damaged. I'm trying to figure out where to order a replacement slide or piping that fits the tuning slide. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Eb, upright 3 valve 1926 Conn tuba (I believe its a 2J).

It may use .656 tubing. If so, you should be able to purchase inners and outers for the tuning slide through Conn-Selmer (or you can always poke around and see who has what for sale.)

Advice here completely depends on which model it is and whether the slide is before or after the valve section.

It is a 2J (by bell diameter) with a main tuning slide on the lead pipe, before the valve block
