Tuba in need of playing

Post by tubajon »

Hello, I am in need of a tuba; a tuba that is in need of a player. I will accept any horn. I just can't pay for it. I'm not asking for a free tuba. I'm just looking for a tuba that is in need of a player. Of course, the tuba in question will be returned to the owner as needed. Located in Rochester, NY. Please call 585-208-6920 or email tubajon@yahoo.com" target="_blank. Thank you, Jon R.

If you have $500, you should be able to get *something* playable. I think Dillon's has a Conn 10J for that price. Nothing fancy, but it is certainly a tuba (and an American-made one, too!).

I didn't see anything at Dillon's for $500. I'll keep looking. I'm sure there is someone out there who needs someone to play their seldom-used tuba.

Shoot! I just checked their site and it's not listed anymore.

Either way, give Matt Walters a call there. Tell him your budget, and he'll be straight with you about if there's anything in your price range, and what it's like! Shops often have more on the floor than on the web site!
