Retired Chemical Engineer and Industrial Hygienist. I play in my church quintet and the small town city band where I grew up. (Once you are in the city band you are forever in the city band). My retirement business card has Tubist on it, which makes people who see it have that look like "what the **** is a Tubist!"

1964-68 - US Navy CT (crypto technician). Not a Navy musician but active in several command bands and local brass bands while stationed in Scotland.
1968-72 - engineering student and factory laborer.
1972-2003 - manufacturing engineer/sales engineer/automation & robotics consultant... blah blah. amateur musician & brass repair hobbiest.
2003 to present - retired from manufacturing due to several business closings. Still an amateur musician but have moved to professional status with my own brass repair shop specializing in the stuff no one at the music stores wants to work on.... tubas.
