Less than $30 for a set of three brushes to keep your horn clean seems like a fair deal to me.

Well, I need a set for my tuba, my bone, and a trumpet.

Or might I use the tuba brushes in a trumpet?

I use these on my tubas and I really am pleased with them. I do not know of anything better for the price and they do the job very well without being abrasive. The valve brush actually is sized correctly to clean out the VMI-B&S-Melton-Meinl Weston Big Valve sets nicely too.

I do not think the Tuba set will work well for your trumpet as mine does not really look to fit my Getzen cornet. The tuba set is actually tuba sized instead of being a Euphonium sized set being called a tuba version which I have seen other makers do.

I've used 3 of their sets for about 2 years now... trumpet, baritone and trombone. They work very well. There are no exposed wires to scratch the inside of your instrument.

They work very well

My tuba set came with a large and small snake and double tipped "swab" (for lack of a better term).

The smaller snake goes easily down the leadpipe and the larger one gets pulled through the valve tubing and slides without getting stuck, and their construction makes them very easy to "feed" down the leadpipe and such. The brush is double tipped, and I use it to swab out my valve casings.

They are worth the price and then some to me. Highly recommended product!
