Help choosing a mouthpiece!!

I recently purchased a new 5v C clone Tuba from TubaMM and i really love it. My old Schilke 69c4 that i was playing on was harming my intonation so i needed to switch. I'm in the process of picking a new mouthpiece. Ive playing all of them i just cant decide which one is "Acceptable".
My instructor let me borrow his PT-50 and i liked the low register but i just felt like i couldn't hit the high notes like i could on my schilke. Which irritated me.
The main reason i'm posting this is because i have a Conn 2 Mouthpiece that was given to me by one of my old highschool band directors a while ago, its not in the prettiest of shapes but i can pop the high notes like i used to could on my schilke, and it has a pretty nice low register... (Is it acceptable in the "Tuba World") The obvious answer is "Go with what mouthpiece works best for you"... But, i was just wondering if i could get any feed back or any "Good idea" mouthpieces that I could use for the new tuba I purchased.

The obvious answer is the correct answer -- if you've found something that works for you, use it! New ones are available (and not very expensive), if you want a spare or are concerned about appearance.

Look into the Sellsmenberger Symphony or the Mouthpiece Ordiance 3 or 5. They are deep, modified cup, 2 part stainless steel mouthpieces that have about 20 different screw-on rims that are available to use with the bottoms. If you go to http://www.housermouthpiece.com you can download a pdf that has drawing of the different rims and cups available and can compair their shapes against each other.

Can't help much with the mouthpiece, having been through your quest and still not sure I got it right for myself. Just wanted to say how nice it is to see Young Harris pop up. What a great institution. My son would not have had the opportunities he has had in life without the hands on care he got at Young Harris. Your faculty went way beyond the call and got him going when he really needed it. They are tops in my book!
