Conn F update?

Does anyone have any word on the Conn F tuba they are supposedly working on?

I played the prototype and it was a pretty nice American F. Does anyone know anything about when they will be coming out with it?

In December 2003, the UMI representative at Midwest Clinic said that all further R&D on the Conn F had been put on hold indefinitely.

So i guess there will be not Conn F tuba. That's a shame. it was a good horn.
