VALVES FOR CARL FISCHER Eb HELICON

Post by TUBUD »

I was recently given a Carl Fisher helicon ( Eb I believe) with #2 and #3 valves missing. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any other brands of valves that might work. The #1 valve measures .883" in diameter and 3.125" inches tall without the stem. It may have been made by another manufacture and is probably about 100 years old. I don't know if it's any good or not but I would like to find out. I also need the top and bottom caps for all three. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have no pictures of the horn and no valve caps-top or bottom. A Yamaha YEP- 201 euphonium valve almost fits but is about 1/6" to big.
