Perhaps you should have a look at Bach cantata arias for sop and continuo. You could play the continuo bass line on your tuba with maybe a bit of octave editing. Of course, you'd still need a keyboard instrument to fill out the harmony. Just a thought.

Try Rodger Vaughn's piece, "Suite for Tuba and Soprano", I believe. Quite fun, with a tribute to hot cocoa scum and folks named Williams and Bobo.

Ask some singer you know who's married to a tuba player. I think she'll know a couple.

Very nice burn as always, Tony.
So Joshy, have you even said 'hi' to this girl yet? --or would performing this piece be an excuse to get to know her? That would be sneaky, but resourceful. Lord knows I had to pull a much crazier stunt to get a singer to go out with me....And look at how that turned out.....
Seriously, though- Good luck with that. Tuba players everywhere are pulling for you, dude.

There are definitely a few. I was wandering around Hickey's a while back and looking at tuba/other instrument duets, and there's a couple for tuba/soprano, one for tuba/violin and a couple for tuba and banjo.
