Quartet Recital Videos.

Post by Davy »

Never got around to posting these, so its about time.

Last December, I performed a recital with my Tuba Euphonium Quartet. Lots of fun with great music. Here is a link to the Youtube Playlist.

I'm playing the Tuba 1 part, and even have a world premier composition on the recital. Check it out!

Based on some of the songs you chose for the recital I would have to say that you must be a fan of Sotto Voce? I am as well (a fan of anything with Nat McIntosh)!

BTW +1 for Benediction, it is a beautiful piece.

Thanks for sharing them on youtube. :) It's always nice to see good low brass videos on there :tuba:

Definitely a sotto voce fan! Also a huge fan of John Stevens's writing.

From left to right, horns were a King 2341 BBb, my 186CC, a Yamaha 321 euphonium, and a Besson 3+1 non compensating.

We will be performing another recital in about a month with all new literature, and I will be sure to post a link for that music as well!
