Does anyone have something they use to help during fast passages to help feel the up stroke on the valve. I'm playing a piece that has 2 valve on the beat and 23v on the fourth sixteenth before it 1= 2v, E=23v. &=1v and a=23 repeating 4 times @125=140 bpm. I'm having trouble feeling the beat when i'm lifting the 2v.
ThnkZ!

Slow it way down. Let the valve move , don't try to feel it at all. The only thing you can do is get your finger out of the way and let the valve work. Of course, the valve has to be working properly.
Record it, slow. LISTEN to it. Lots of air will help. Speed it up gradually, and record and listen at every stage.
When you get it to tempo, slow it down again. Keep recording and listening. Rinse, repeat.
