¿¿¿ Community music groups in Costa Rica ???

Does anyone here know of community music groups, such as band, orchestra, brass band, quintet, etc., in Costa Rica? I haven't been able to find anything on the internet.

Most likely the Central Valley. I haven't picked a location yet. Availability of music will be a big part of my decision.

There is a tubachristmas in CR this year... Maybe try getting in touch with the coordinator there?

Thank you for this wonderful advice. I have contacted John Buford who gave me a quick run down on what's happening in Costa Rica. He has generously invited me to meet with him in San Ramon next month.

Wow, glad it worked out so well! You should post more details after you learn more.

Side note: I actually drove through San Ramon last year, but very quickly as I was frantically trying to get to the airport on-time.
