Found the tuba\euph quartet piece Central Junction by Brain Balmages. The recording sounds pretty cool, but before I shell out $25 hard-earned dollars, I wanna hear people's thoughts on the piece. Has anybody played it? How well does it lay on the fingers\ face? And how much of a pain would it be for a high school group to perform?
I'm also intrigued by the quartet arrangement of Schindler's List that the Miraphone Tuba Quartet did, but I have yet to find any kind of arrangement anywhere. Anybody know where I can find it? I've already transposed the solo violin part for euph, but I want to pretend that I'm not the only one who likes playing that piece. I also like how they arranged it, and it's been bothering me for a while.
