An odd thought that crossed my mind, while driving to work, and listening to the news:
I wonder if any of the shooters for these horrific crimes, played music when they were in school? My guess is no.
Some of the shooters are reported to be very "smart" in an academic sense, but I have to wonder about their spiritual development.
I have to believe that someone who loves "spiritual" music, could not do such a thing.
Any thoughts? I wonder if there a way to find out.

Re: Music and Humanity
I read a post somewhere... most likely here... that being in a music ensemble provides much needed social factors, such as learning to act in a group. The fact that every part is needed no matter how "mundane" it gets. I think the title of the article was "Violins, not Violence" or something to that nature.
