Sellmansberger Orchestra Grand Cup...

Post by Peach »

Joe, you mention this in the sponsor section but otherwise it's gone under-radar for me at least.
What's the latest?
Thanks,
MP

PS. That Holton Bb 345 looks stunning btw.

+1.

The Houser site only gives it a "coming soon;" what's the scoop?

Sellmansberger Orchestra Grand Cup
Sounds like what Bloke drinks his non-alcoholic non-carbonated caffeine-free zero-calorie beverages from before performing on a 6 valve 6/4 tuba.

Have any of the rim options changed with the new 3-part system?

We've streamlined the rim exteriors, but the same three #1 rims (S-M-L), three #2 rims (S-M-L), HLB2 rim, C4LA, and flatter "H"-style rims are all still available, and ALL of them fit ALL of the cups. That's ten rim choices that I try to keep on hand...
Why is the gold H-Kote no longer available? I love the feel of the gold #2 rim I have - just right - smooth but not too slippery. Plus, most people just assume it is a goldplated rim and I don't have to answer questions about it constantly "Why is your rim black?"
Would love to see gold H-Kote back, to get a second rim to have as spare.
