[Gorilla Tuba]

I've gone a few times and plan on going to Eugene this summer. I haven't been to all of the Sertec, nertec, bertec, and flirtecs of the world, but it is somewhat unique. It has far more of an emphasis on the big tuba/euph ensemble than most. I haven't been since they added the competition aspect, but in general, the HPNWBBB is one of the friendliest of all tuba gatherings... more serious than most Tubachristmi, but less intense that Falcone. For those of you who say the tuba conferences don't have enough for amateurs, then this is the conference for you!
