mouthpiece question

Hi,
A friend of mine just got a VMI 330.(BBb) I am not familiar with this horn. He says the mouthpieces he has (a couple of Bach pcs 18,24AW,a PT 83 about and a SSH (Helleberg) and a couple of no-namers) fit approx. 5/16" further in then on the other tuba he had (based on insertion marks). I think that one was a Jupiter of some sort. Does this horn call for a Euro shank mouthpiece? Since he just moved out of state and hasn't joined the local community group yet, he hasn't tried it out in an ensemble.

Sorry, yes it is 3301. I wrote it incorrectly as we spoke on the phone. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out shortly.
