I have a friend who's been ordering bell up gig bags for her kid's Euph, and they are all too short for the instrument. Then she told me which model - King 627.
These things certainly are tall; but I'm finding it hard to clarify which if any model (inexpensive) gig bag will fit. Any ideas? She'd prefer something in the "ProTec" price range.

This is an exceptionally tall euphonium. You will probably need to order a custom one from Donna Altieri (http://altieribags.com/" target="_blank). It will be a little more expensive than the ProTec, but not significantly. I've been challenged to find gig bags for these in the past and there just isn't one out there.
All the best to you.

You are always skillful at getting a guffaw out of me, Bloke!
Roger, thank you for the guidance. I was fearing an answer like this, but hoping you'd be one of the folks replying!
