Actually, I believe you have to be BETTER at spelling. You have to have all the correct letters(just not necessarily in the right order).

Hmmm.... according to this... in this case... Grandpa should be capitalized. I often wondered about that and just had to do a search!

I guess the thread is sufficiently derailed to mention that words like grandpa, president, etc. are capitalized when used as or as part of a proper name. When they are merely descriptive, they are not.

E.g. -- We saw President Roosevelt at supper. We saw the president at supper.
