We just received approval today from the folks at the Harvey Phillips Foundation to get the event going - it's a quick turnaround, so I hope your tuba and baritone players can join us.

The event is going to be held on Friday, December 13 in St. George's, Delaware. Specifically, registration will begin at 5:00 PM, rehearsal will be held at 6:30 PM, and the concert is at 7:30 PM.
The location is the old church in St. George's, at 200 Main Street, St. George's, DE 19733

The conductor for the event will be me! I spent 7 years working as a band director in Maryland and Delaware, and now I'm a full-time graduate student at West Chester University working on my master's in composition. In addition, I'm an instrumentalist in the 78th Army Reserve Band and I work with several high school and college bands in the area, as well as the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps.

In an effort to better plan for our event, we have a Facebook Event set up to collect RSVPs. That is at:http://www.facebook.com/events/765417646808602/

Please forward this email along to your low brass folks, and any other tuba and baritone players you may know so we can show Delaware what a great time Tuba Christmas can be!

Thank you very much!

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
