anyone ever see or fool around with one of these?

Seen one once at a school in NC. I felt sorry for the kids (middle schoolers) trying to use it. Don't know if it was missing any parts but was way too involved to get it just right before the kids could play. I recommended selling it for scrap. Always wondered what that thing was and if it was intentionally made for tuba as it had so many points of adjustment and lacked padding. Thanks for posting this!
