I have recently purchased a Conn 20K without a bell. Are there any issues with putting a 20J bell on the instrument? I have heard of this being done but are there any positives/negatives to doing so? Any feedback would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Actually.... you can turn the 20J bell upward on a sousaphone so it is a quasi 'raincatcher'. Your band director might enjoy that better than having the bell pointed straight at him!
On the serious side.... when you originally posted, I overlooked the fact that I have a BRAND NEW lacquered brass sousaphone bell of Asian origin that will fit a 20K sousa. Email me if you are interested. danschultz@wowway.com" target="_blank
