looks like too long an open bugle for a barfonium. Hard to tell with nothing to get a size comparison from. Could be an Eb tuba. Ask the seller about the diameter of the bell. 13" or under probably a euph.

Comparing it with my Couesnon E-flat there's not enough tubing, my tuba has an extra turn after the valves: this has to be a barfonium.

It just looks a bit more open than usual because we're used to seeing 4-valve compensated euph's, and this is a 3-valve non-comp.

Saxhorn basse en Si bemol, the fat Bb tenor-bass member of the Saxhorn family, the French equivalent of the euphonium. The slim Bb tenor-bass member of the Saxhorn family is the Saxhorn baryton en Si bemol.

You will se the piston stems over the top bow on Saxhorns in Eb alto and in Bb tenor-bass, but I don't remember ever seeing that feature on any lower pitched instruments.

The diameter of the bell is 10,5 " and the entire length of the tube is 25".

The seller.
