Im tiefen Keller as Trio for low brass &/or low WW

Post by imperialbari »

Im tiefen Keller as Trio for low brass &/or low WW.

I first wrote a two part version, when I was in a two tubas' section, since then wrote a three part version for a three tubas' section. The latter was also edited for low clarinets and for bassoons.

Just revised the 3 tubas' version. The original contrabass tubist had no low Eb. This version has the low Eb's that I wanted, but the option of octave up now is in cue notes. A treble clef version for 2 Eb tubas and 1 BBb tuba has been added.

I wrote the top line for a somewhat younger incarnation of myself, hence the range of 3 octaves and a fourth.

The WW versions are compatible with the tuba versions. Only there are some redistributions of the very low Eb-concert notes. The last two bars also have their voicing reshuffled to accommodate the WW ranges. With mixed performances you should adapt these entries to your actual instruments.

The WW-versions allow for a euphonium playing the top line.
