Half-cover

Post by Dubby »

Anyone have any experience with something like this?

I have one now for about a week, and I like it, but I'm curious as to anybody else's opinions on it. How does yours fit? Do you leave it on in the case? Any problems with tarnish? Thanks for any input!

we used them in the past, they are meant for outdoor playing, to protect the instrument from the elements and your clothes form the instrument. They do, however, have an effect on the sound of the instrument, so I wouldn't use it all the time.

How exactly could a half-cover have an effect on the sound?
"Some men are macho men. Others are Martin men"

It's that word "handcraft"...

Changing the overall weight.

Dampening metal vibration at the contact areas.
