Patriotic Brass Music

Post by tbn.al »

With July 4th at hand I needed some patriotic quintet music. I remembered hearing a quintet version America the Beautiful that I liked and finally after much internet searching found the one I remembered. It is by Jari Villanueva. He has a bunch of nice brass stuff on his website, the whole site is interesting. Don't know the man but some of you might given his history.

Thank you for this post. Jari's web site is really good. I bought two more arrangements today. Our quintet already owned several of Jari's arrangements. They are quite good. When you buy the arrangements off of the web site, they are immediately sent to you by E-Mail.

I have known Jari Villanueva since he was in Peabody Conservatory in the 1970's. He is an excellent trumpet player, fine musician and really great guy.

If you pay with paypal or a credit card you can download immediately. I had a bit of trouble negotiating the payment site and emailed Jari. He sent back a response almost immediately which cleared things up for me. I was able to download the .pdf's.
