I don't know why you folks are bashing it so hard. I found it rather amusing: the last few notes even brought out a chuckle.

His lows would be powerful if he would work at them less. As they are, they're just overblown and not connected to any musical thought that comes before or after...

But some good things. Let's see. He's loud. There are times when that's all that matters. Few of those times have anything to do with music, but loud can be beneficial, for example if you would otherwise be listening to a helicopter about 30 feet away.

There we go. I think he could also play a nice lyrical passage and sound blissful on it. But we won't know until he uploads a vid of him doing so. Now if can play like this and play gentle and sweet then he is an all around tuba player. Gotta be able to please all audiences.

He could just play actual music instead of this shopping list of notes or some "gentle and sweet" whatever. That would provide plenty of possibilities without having to resort to the false extremes of gentle and sweet, or this.

I believe the late Surgeon General Koop once said playing this way will lead to hemorrhoids.

Some people like to spend the day setting off bombs in the woods (or in fields, or lakes). When the explosion occurs, they cheer. It makes them happy. They tend to prefer big explosions to small ones. Many variations of pleasure explosions documented on YouTube.

Hook him up with a banda band. If there is a Mexican community near by, he might have a forever-job!

This isn't "too much power". It's overblowing overwhelming their capacity for production of good tone. If you have the patience to listen all the way through (or skip ahead), you hear some decent harmony and tone when they back off the volume.

First thing I thought of. If this was the intent then I am very impressed.

Why has someone(Tuboss2) put a recording of a group of chain saws on TubeNet. I've been told you can tune a chain saw. Well....

Well, I for one think a Banda band is a good fit for him, hell, it's prolly a good fit for me. There's something for everybody. Also, think about it this way, if he played like this in a football game in the stands, don't y'all think the other band will be like 'well damn  '

Also: haven't played in a while, so I though what the hell, why not record a video that matches this guy's volume. Except without the white noise.

Excuse a couple minor mistakes I had just got done working out and decided to pick up my Sousa and lay it down haha.

Not attempting to change the subject, but some have mentioned bandas. I happen to like bandas. As is the case for virtually any type of music, there are good sounding ensembles, and there are bad sounding ones. Not all banda tuba players sound bad.
